Mail Art

I just found my dream come true tonight at Barnes and Noble! There is a such thing as Mail Art, and people (usually strangers) send mail and postcards to each other! I am the happiest woman on the planet right now!

I am taking an online Film course... and here is a video I needed to make for it... I am very happy that it came out allright!

Twinkie Roast

Ha! I like the title of that! I just thought that I would show you some photos of what I have been doing... It is now one week into the New Year, and I am making some progress, but I must admit not as much progress I would like like.

My New Year's Resolution was to do more crafts, and celebrate more holidays and make more gifts for people... and cards too. Well Valentine's day is coming up, and I got these cute little decorations for the windows. I just love them and wanted to share them with you!

The other part of my resolutions was to cook more at home... and not just eat more at home, but to eat really well at home. I have been scouring the internet find really good recipes, and I can't wait to really get into my kitchen and start experimenting. I am really excited about this, and today I am making a wonderful roast... I thought I would share the before with you right now, and I will take another photo when it is done and post that on here as well...

Well I am not sure how to format, so all of my photos are up at the top there... but I wanted you all to see Twinkie... don't you just love him? I will have to tell you all the story of how I got him... but not today... I just got off of the midnight Audit shift at the hotel and need to get some sleep whilst my lovely roast is cooking. Hopefully Twinkie will let me sleep. He is quite fond of waking me up... isn't that what cat's do? I don't know. At Christmas I made the mistake of buying him toys for his stocking filled with catnip. I knew that cat's liked catnip, but nobody tells you that it makes the cat go absolutley MAD! Why doesn't anyone tell you that? They just say, "Oh, you should get him some catnip, he will love that!" It was like I gave him COCAINE! I will not do that again! AND I will make it a point to tell everyone I know what it does! LOL!

One of my New Year's Resolutions was to start a blog for my crafts that I intend to do. (Another one of my Resolutions.) I have an incredibly cute kitty, named Twinkie who is my constant companion. I am single, I am going to college to get my PhD in Psychology and I work for a hotel.



I have a very small apartment (that I love!) but after seeing some of ya'll's houses, I am quite a bit intimidated! It is, as Virginia Wolfe would say "a room of my own" and that is all that matters I suppose.



I hope that I am able to figure out how to make an interesting blog, and I hope that all that read this find something good to take with them!
